Prophecy

An ancient curse, let loose

with words both blood borne

and forged in fire,

leaving us earthbound, heaven-blind

to endlessly unlock the mysteries

one light-filled moment at a time.

Chasing the light outside our balcony door here in the West End, Vancouver, B.C.

Capturing the light, a beautiful Vancouver, B.C. sunset.

    And those words were power,
binding us all to the firmament, searching light.
    Thought…. is a promise unspoken,
    can change fire into ice.
