Like a half-remembered dream
I find myself drawn to the places
where I dwelt as a child.
To the sun-lit paths of the cedar-scented forest
gathering heart-shaped stones and fallen pine cones along the way
To the wind-swept wild beaches at the edge of the ocean
collecting handfuls of seashells and rare polished glass off the sand
these are the offerings for passage between worlds.

A small grove of beautiful cedars surrounding the perfect perch for writing or pausing – located in Stanley Park, Vancouver, B.C.
Nice! 🙂
